Because of that the king called Short Parliament but is was dissolved because there was no change for agreement. In 1640 he called Long Parliament. Archbishop Laud left the country and Earl of Stafford was execued- it was the way to get rif of king's advisers.
In 1641 there was bloody rebellion in Ireland and king and Parliament were fighting also. They divided into 2 sided: Royalist (Cavaliers) and MPs (Roundheads)
